There is no more excitement or thrill we got so often at the beginning instead, the mc encounters the same issues over and over again but in a different form every other time. Even with the art being versatile and stunning, it can not cover up the faults of, well, boredom.

There is no real character development nor actual romance. Though entertaining and comedic at times, nothing else is there.

But after the initial 30-40 chapters, it simply gets repetitive and predictable. Initially, the manhua is a more ideal/realistic version of what most people would do in a murim world: to live an isolated life while garnering as much strength as possible.
