To my mind I think that despite he knows French, he knows other language, he has Masters degree, good jobs so girls would like him since his profile is good,(this is what I think of him). For example, I recently had chat with a guy through text, he texts me using French, I did not know that he knows French since I know some French but I forget because I learned it long a go, after that I started questioning him using French, and assured myself he knows it, I said 'then you are an American pie', he replied 'thanks', but I am unsure if he got me.
This is what happened to me when I first saw this phrase 'American Pie', to me it feels like something that is wanted and only few are entitled.
